The name Phantasmagoria comes from a fantasy novel that Kaori read while on Earth. It is a story about swords, magic, and strange monsters. While Kaori was imprisoned in Rakios she mentioned to Orpha that this world is like Phantasmagoria. Later on while Yuuto is telling Esperia, Aselia, and Orpha about the world he comes from it is decided to call his world Hyperia and the world where most of the events in Eien no Aselia takes place Phantasmagoria.
